Apr 2 - I added an item or two to the All Star League and Fonda Speedway pages. I have also archived the March News page.
Apr 4 - I added a row of photos to the Who Dem ? page. Also, I addded a ton of photos to the Ron Barcomb page. It had been one of the pages which hadn't been updated in a long time.
Apr 13 - I added a new blog - Weekly Blog April 13, 2014 - Quirky Stories of Early Tracks. A large page on the NASCAR Grand Touring division is now on, with more to come in the future.
Apr 17 - I added a few photos to the Henry Montandon page- thanks to the page of his brother - in - law, Lloyd Hutchins Jr.
Apr 18 - I have discovered the first casualties of the computer crash last month. I know some of you are following the Uncle Art Stuarts Book page, and await new additions. All the rest of the scans from that book Mike Visconti so kindly let me keep for over three years were temporarily stored in a folder on my desktop. The desktop is the one thing we can't access from the old computer. I'm not going to deprive Mike of his book again, so I guess we're screwed unless a.) we figure out how to unlock the desktop or b.) someone else has the exact same issue of the record book. Both are unlikely. I'm really sorry about this.
Apr 22 - I did a large page called Ramblin' 'Round, borrowed from a column once done by Jim Moffatt in the Cavalcade of Auto Racing - an Oilzum promotional magazine. This have over 200 race tracks - about every one I know of which has at least one image that represents it. It was a lot of work, but I really enjoyed doing it.
Apr 25 - I added a new blog - Weekly Blog April 25, 2014 on the history of relationships between Airborne Speedway and Vermont. Take note, Airborne press officials - I'm trying here.
Apr 26 - Small changes were made to the Rene Charland and Hudson Race Cars pages; and I added Ellsworth Raceway and some Cherryfield photos to the Maine Race Tracks page.
Apr 28 - Added a ton more photos to the Pete Corey page. It takes forever to sort through his dozewns of shots for ones that are not already on there. I have more for later [probably].
Apr 30 - I happened upon an old issue of Speedway Scene, intact, from 1985. It seemed to be from a very important time for racing in the Northeast. Check it out. It's called A Good Issue.
