Aug 5 - Added some photos to the Young / Vine 75 Team page.
Aug 6 - Added considerable material and a correction to the page called Cliff's Cars [about Cliff Wright].
Aug 10 - Cody Sargen wins the feature at Devi's Bowl. Hurray ! Couldn't happen to nicer people. We have added a new page called Profound Pivotal Pictures, containing shots that have a great story behind them.

Aug 15 - I made additions and improvements to the Early Pit Crews page, with intention to add more soon.
Aug 16 - Since we got rained out of Airborne, I made a new Weekly Blog: Weekly_Blog.Aug162014_Thoughts on Homer Drew.
Aug 26 - I made a new Weekly Blog: Weekly Blog August 26, 2014 - on the race car number 6 and 7/8.

We recently lost another link to Vermont's racing past. Ira Farnsworth, a
flagger in the early 1950's, passed away this week. He and his twin brother
Myron "Rollover" Farnsworth were fixtures in the area that included all the
tracks in Colchester, the South Burlington track, the track at Northfield, as
well as venues further away such as Rutland and Sheldon. Jackie Peterson always
speaks fondly about both brothers, and the rest of that crew that included the
likes of Gordy Owen, Herb and Carl Trayah, Bob Bushey, Clarence Rock, and many
others. I alspo added a few shots on the Great
Old Photos page.

I believe Ron is at left and Ira is
looking at us here. Ronnie would take 5 or 10 bucks to roll his car
over on command. Looks like this one had a few too many.
Aug 29 - I've added a page on the A.C.A.Q. - a promotion in the Montreal area that ran the same type of cars [and ,many of the same teams] as Vermont's Northern NASCAR.
