Apr 3 - News and Updates pages have been archived. I added considerably to the Ashland Park/Warrensburg Speedway page. I also added many photos to the early years section of the Fonda Speedway page.
Apr 11 - Thanks to some help from Bill Baker, we have a few shots of Harold "Cannonball" Baker and his home track, Enosburgh Speedway. I had the track page simply called the Davis Speedway because of its road location. Thanks, Bill.
Apr 12 - The month's first: Weekly Blog, April 12, 2013 - on the Airborne Park Speedway "ice races" of 1958 - 60. A also found seven exciting photos on the Warrensburg, NY Historical Society page concerning Warrensburg Speedway/Ashland Park. I appreciate those.
Apr 13 - The Webster Flats page has been upgraded with a few more photos.
Apr 17 - The George Baumgardner page has had several additions.

Weekly Blog April 28,
2013, concerning my limited knowledge of the old Exeter, Maine fairgrounds
track. Sorry these are not coming more frequently. For some reason, my computer
gives me at least three times more grief doing the blog updates than it does any
other pages on the entire site. It doesn't inspire me to subject myself to the
aggravation every week; but, I promise to try and cowboy up to the task. Below,
I am showing 2 photos of a restored 1935 water truck that an emailer of mine
claims is the old Rutland fairgrounds truck, restored. he now owns it and wants
to paint it in the exact colors it was when it served the Vermont State Fair
until well into the 1970's. Anyone remember what color the old truck was ? CJ
Richards used to rave about being made to use it when he ran his shows in
1962-64.
