Dennis Caron
Dennis is the
proud [and fussy] proprietor of Caron's Colchester Auto Body. Although he is no
longer racing, and his son has hung up the driving gloves for a job with Steve
Hibbard's Busch East racing operation, Dennis and company still remain active in
racing by working on some very high - priced factory - built sports cars. I
can't remember the name of the group, but they are very elite cars - and Dennis
prepares some of the bodies for competition.
I missed most of Dennis' racing because I
wasn't around the sport for a long stretch, but I remember his beautiful entry
in the Street Stocks at Catamount. Dennis didn't drive it a long time, but the
car remained in the limelight when he sold it to the "Racing Grandmother",
Lorraine Parsons.
