AERIAL VIEWS OF DEAD RACE TRACKS

Some of us old fart historians, who seemingly don't have lives, think the aerial photos of race track sites are really cool to look at. In some cases, these tracks have been essentially lost to the racing community for 50+ years. After years of relying on the old USGS Terraserver photos from the '90's, and then struggling with the often - too - recent Google Earth photos, I happened upon the Historic Aerials site, which have many aerials photos of towns anywhere from the 1930's, on up. Here is pretty much a complete offering of such photos. This is easier on you than always trying to use the message boards, whose URL links often dry up.
